Welcome To Michelmersh Silver Band

Michelmersh Silver Band (MSB) is a nationally graded 1st Section Band based in Michelmersh & Timsbury just north of the market town of Romsey, Hampshire. MSB are a very active Band performing at many Concerts and other functions in the Romsey locality, and competing in Regional and National Competitions.

The Band rehearse in their own freehold premises in Timsbury every Monday and Friday evening between 8 and 10pm and guest players are always welcome to drop in to have a blow or listen. On Friday evening most of the Band retire to their favourite pub, The Bear and Ragged Staff in Michelmersh to put the world to rights.

Michelmersh also have a thriving Training Band which rehearses on a Monday evening between 7 and 8pm. Young players, or older ‘trainees’ are always welcome.  Phone Jan Boler on 01794 399978 if you would be interested in joining either the Training or Junior Bands.
